A Question About A Kilted Carlos
Last night I caught an American TV show for firearms enthusiasts. It used to be called The American Shooter but I think the title has changed... anyway this particular episode featured a kilted dude from the show's film crew, a gentleman named Carlos, who was competing kilted at a featured shooting event, and there was a lot of commentary about how Carlos is not Scottish, and not to ask about the kilt and good natured stuff like that. Of course I got to wondering if Carlos is known on this site... I took a look at the members list but decided that the day would be over before I could even begin to tell that way, so now I'm asking: Carlos are you out there reading this?

If his last name was Hathcock, it was probably best not to make him mad.

Seriously, I think I remember it was Ramirez, but unless fully alert I'm lousy with names.

One of Hathcock's most famous accomplishments was shooting an enemy sniper through his scope, hitting him in the eye and killing him.
Whatever you do...don't make him mad!!!

Unless it was an old show, the gentleman featured was probably not the famous Gunnery Sergeant Hathcock, whose death came in February 1999.
A most commendable man.

Just a quick note from the moderators.
This thread is CLOSE to breaking the rules but it doesn't yet.
(No discussion of weapons not associated with Scottish historical weaponry.)
Let's keep it that way.
You gents have all been wonderful so far and it's an interesting thread, so it'd be a shame for it to go off the current topic.
Have a good evening.

Following that narrow escape, I can now post that, having checked my taped source, the kilted gentleman's name is actually CARLOS TORRES and that he is the show's film editor. He wears a tartan kilt with a traditional sporran but I am nowhere near good enough to identify which tartan. I can't believe that an hispanic kilt enthusiast isn't on a site like this one.
I did think I'd seen posts signed 'Carlos' in the past, which is mostly why I brought this up.
