Wool X-Kilt?
I was in the fabric store the other day, shopping for fleece for my Inverness cape project, and I noticed some "coat weight" gray wool.
Today I found the X-kilt plans through this forum, and it got me thinking about the possibility of making an X-kilt from the gray wool. I'd mainly use it for camping, hiking or similar. The material was $24 a yard for 60" so I'd probably get 4 yards and make two of them (maybe one for someone else).
Has anyone made an X-kilt from wool, and/or does anyone have thoughts about the idea as a concept?
