They refer to it as a ballock dagger, but it's actually a ca.1600 "dudgeon" dirk. Perfect for you RenFaire highlanders...!
Kris Cutlery seems to be paying more attention to historic detail in recent years, I like that one!
For those who don't know, BTW, the period reference to these as "dudgeon daggers/dirks" in Scotland comes from the common use of boxwood, or dudgeon, for the handles.
