    Question First kilt advice

OK everyone, I'd like your many and varied opinions on my first kilt purchase. I bought a Irish national economy kilt from stillwater, but a size too small. Jerry is out of the proper size, and says it may be a month or two before he gets any more in. I'd like to get a kilt sooner rather than later - I don't want to lose the enthusiasm I have built up for this by waiting.

Is there any other credible online store that sells a cheap, Ireland - centric kilt?
Should I just grab one off of eBay for now?

Many of the sponsors will have something "Irish" to get you going. Cheap is so relative. Nothing will be as inexpensive as the Stillwater. You could trade for a Stillwater thrifty (cheaper) or standard (more $). You'd have to check with Jerry on sizing there too.

Forum sponsor Buy-a-kilt has a PV Heritage of Ireland kilt for about $69USD. http://buyakilt.com/heritage-of-irel...y-viscose-kilt

A USAKilts PV casual is probably $110-120USD unless you have a very small hip measurement, less than 32". They have a Tara tartan.

Celtic Croft has a wool/poly blend economy kilt for $109USD in Irish Green tartan.

You could also just buy kilt strap extenders for the kilt you have!
