    Buffalo Brew Pub, Williamsville NY

This is me, the little woman and a couple of old friends (they're on each side of my wife and I) after dinner and some suds at the Buffalo Brew Pub in Williamsville, NY (a suburb of Buffalo) Sunday night.

My friend just retired this past week, lucky dog that he is. Turns out he has considerable Scot heritage and really knows his family ancestry, which is something I never knew about him. Both our younger sons were there too, one with his wife and our 15 month old grandson, the other with his girlfriend. We had a great time.

I obviously need to step it up a bit with a wider belt, nicer storran and leather storran strap, but all that stuff will have to come over time. I did have my hose and tartan flashes on too. Looks like the Clan Chief, the Duke of Argyll, likes red hose, so maybe that's next. He seems to be in kilt a lot.

By the way, it's a USA Kilts semi traditional in Ancient Campbell, pretty much brand new and really out for the first time. The black t-shirt underneath the blue shirt says "Real Men Wear Kilts".

That's about it for me, just back to the grind after a great long weekend visiting family and friends. We had Columbus Day off, which is always the 2nd weekend in October in the US.

I hope the rabble are enjoying their kilts!

Hey Frank, I was just going to say ya need a bigger belt but you have it figured out already. I need to do the same thing. I'm going to try and pick one up at the games in two weeks.

I actually like the chain, though it seems like I'm the only one at times. Especially with a dress sporran, it really brings the look together.

Heck Cecil, I used to buy wide belts for my jeans as a kid, but then again, that was 50 years ago...

Thanks Llama, maybe I'll just step up to a better (smoother) chain, and be done with it! For now, anyways...

Thanks Richard, it is and was fun. Soon as I get my tweed jacket back from Victoria, I'll shoot some pics with the kilt, nice tie and all and see what folks think.

    Hi Frank,

    Not a bad look.

I wear a sporran strap for all occasions - the ease of use is such a benefit. As for your accessories - individually, all your relatives and friends can't afford all the stuff you want, but all together they can.

    Regards

    Chas

Chas, I'm just taking it as it comes. I can't afford all this stuff at once, but as I get cash, stuff happens. I'm finally able to afford this kilt stuff, and over time I will get in better shape. Suggestions from the rabble help too, as it often leads me down different paths, which is a good thing!

    Cheers!

Thanks! Beer was great. I can't remember all I had, but check out www.buffalobrewpub.com. It's the oldest brew pub in NYS and always has some unique brews.
