Will others follow?

Last Saturday my wife and I attended a black tie dinner and reception in conjunction with the opening night of the Austin Lyric Opera. As I had done a few times before, I went kilted and wore my PC. Generally, being the only one so attired, I receive and couple of nice comments. Usually these are from women and are of the nature "I love to see a man in a kilt." I don't know what was different, but this time I was overwhelmed with compliments, and many from men. They were curious about the kilt and I tried to answer their questions and encouraged them to consider getting one. I have a few more opportunities to attend similar events and I will be anxious to see if any more kilts appear.
