Income Taxes filed... perhaps another tank with the refund.

I electronically filed my income tax returns last night, and will see enough coin in my tax refunds that I can afford an 8-yard tank in a special order weave.

I've had my eye on both a Buchanan Clan Reproduction and a Buchanan Hunting Ancient, in 15 ounce. If I do anything, I think I'll save the Reproduction for the future, and go with the Hunting Ancient this time around.

Is anyone else thinking of any kilt-related purchases with any tax refunds?

We just had an income tax refund too. I was thinking the same. However, thats now scuttled, as before I brought the matter up with the wife, she came home earlier this week and said she had been a naught girl and spent most of it on some long coats in a sale. Ah well ... next time I'll get in early.

Not exactly a tax refund but a little pension pay out. So have ordered a new 16oz Lochcarron Strome tank in Cameron of Erracht weathered from our own Paul Henry. Obviously pictures will follow.

Yes, my better half has authorised me to spend half of our tax refund this year on whatever I'd like. I will spend some of it on a new bespoke 'Argyll' style jacket and matching waistcoat, both in 21oz Haggart's tweed from Timothy at House of Labhran. The remaining will more than likely go to a few 'odds and ins' in regards to traditional Highland attire that I have had my eye on.

    Slainte,
