did Scotweb stop accepting PayPal?
I was on your website to buy some fabric sample for a jacket and at checkout I was just shown a payment possibility by credit card...

Hi Tom,

Yes, we stopped offering Paypal as a payment option on the web site, basically because we found it was more trouble than it was worth. We invested a lot of time in setting up and tried for around a year, but came to the decision not to continue, for a number of reasons it would take too long to go into in detail. We of course regret that this is less convenient for some customers, and we will even lose some orders as a result. But against that we had to balance all the costs and inconvenience to us and to customers due to their peculiar ways of working, which are just much less flexible than traditional banks.

However, if this is a big problem for you, feel free to ask our customer service team, and they can still take individual Paypal payments as a special service.

thanks for your detailed reply.
For me this is a pity because I have no creditcard.
But Your offer of individual Paypal payment might clear this...
