    Chillin' In The Heat Wave

The San Francisco Bay Area is going through a major heat wave right now; but I know where to go to be cool.

Mori Point in Pacifica is only about 6 miles from where I live, and I went there for a stroll this afternoon. Also met a lovely couple hiking with their dogs who were happy to take some "proof of kilt" pics.

Kilt is my 6-yard Islay Tweed knife pleat from New House Highland in the original Rob Roy (movie) fabric.

EDITING TO ADD a cropped version of one of the pics above:

Bloody gorgeous place for a stroll, my friend!
Nice kilt, great scenery! You are a lucky devil.

How hot has it been up there? It's been over 100*F on some days around here.

Dale: Very rugged and handsome outfit, ... as usual. It blends right into that rocky coastline. Great looking kilt and everything else blends in superbly. Thanks for posting the beautiful pictures.

As a former resident of the Bay Area (which I love)now residing in Southern California now, this is an amazing phenomena of the area. You can be in blazing heat and strong sun a short distance away and travel to Pacifica or Half Moon Bay and be completely engulfed in fog and . The word micro climate really applies in this region.
