    got my new bear kilt today

    got the 4 yard nova scotia tartan
    looks good, fits good, feels good
    will send photo soon.
    now I have to think about what my next bear kilt will be.

    Good news! One of the nicest tartans ever designed IMHO. Of course I'm not the most objective person when it comes to tartan...I like just about all of 'em.

    I think we are definately addicted.

    I am awaiting my 4yd maple leaf from Bear and I have already been enquiring about an 8yd for the cold weather.

    yep, I think my next bear kilt will be maple leaf too.
    4 yatd is nice n light for the summer. bear tells me the clan tartans are about twice as heavy as the Canadian ones.

    Phil, I can confirm that. The Clan tartans are quite a bit thicker and heavier. The Canadian tartans are great for spring, summer, fall, and the Clan tartans are great year round (at least in BC).

    Not true Casey, we had.........let me think...2 weeks of snow this year.

    Makes me think those Manitoba winters were all just a very bad dream.
