    A few consignment Jackets and kilts

    I had a long time customer pass away recently and his family wish to see some of his Highland Wear items go to an appreciative home.

    First up are some jackets.

    This jacket is a barathea Prince Charlie Coatee with 3 button, shawl collar waistcoat.
    An added bonus is a cummerbund.

    Size 44 Reg.

    Next is a unique Maroon Prince Charlie Coattee with gilt buttons.

    Size 44Long

    This a stunning jacket and vest in person.

    The next jacket is a Crail style with the single button cuff.

    It is made from a unique Charcoal gray herringbone suit fabric.
    Includes a matching 5 button vest.

    Size 44 Reg

    A close-up of the fabric.

    Next is another one of a kind Crail style, 2 button jacket in a Navy suit fabric.

    This jacket was made by Burnett's & Struth and does not have a vest.

    Size 44 Reg

    And the final jacket is a Lovat Blue Argyle Style. This jacket does not have a vest.

    Size 46 Reg

    These jackets do not have a set price. I am open to any reasonable offers.
    All are in very good to like new condition.

    I will be happy to provide any details or further photos for anyone interested.

    Please abide by the same guidelines as you would in the For Sale Section of the forum.

    I'll post pics of the kilts next.

    Next up are three kilts.

    Each is made by Burnett's & Struth of 16oz Lochcarron fabric.

    Each kilt comes with an under-apron pocket, matching Fly Plaid, tie and flashes.

    The first kilt for your consideration is in the Maple Leaf Tartan. This kilt is pleated To The Sett.
    Aug 2001
    Size as you can see from the tag is;
    Waist = 38" with a drop of 20 1/2" with a 2 1/2" rise.

    The next kilt is in the Royal Canadian Air Force Tartan. Pleated to the Red Stripe.
    June 1999
    Size is;
    Waist 36 1/2", Drop 22 3/4" with a 2 1/2" rise.

    The final kilt is in the Irvine Tartan, pleated to The White Stripe.
    Size, as you can see is, Waist = 36 1/2", Drop is 22 3/4" with a 2 1/2" rise.
    June 1999
    The fly plaid has a hand purled fringe.

    All of these kilts are in excellent condition with, in just a couple of cases small stitching repairs that are not noticable.

    All have the large, robust straps and buckles that were standard on B&S kilt during these years.

    Again, there are no set prices on these as the family is more concerned that they go to someone who will appreciate and wear them.

    My apologies to everyone. Rocky just PM'd me and pointed out that I listed the third kilt above as Lindsey. This Tartan is Irvine.

    There are Lindsay Tartan items in this consignment but I'm afraid that they are not quite up to the quality I like so I did not include them here.

    But that is why I had Lindsay on the brain.

    So again, here is the kilt.

    Now properly identified as the Irvine Tartan.

    And an update: The Lovat Blue Argyle is tentatively sold.

    The gray herringbone jacket and vest are now sold.

    I have an offer for the Maple Leaf kilt but no payment yet.

    Will the fly plaids be going with the kilts? If someone didn't want them that is.

    Of course it would be better if the fly plaids went with their respective kilts but as no one seems interested in the kilts there is no reason the fly plaids could not go separately.

    Make me an offer.
