Years ago when I was beginning my research into Highland dress, I happened upon a great little pocketbook (or better yet, sporran-book) in my local library. It was covered in blue & green tartan material and with an image of a celtic brooch on the cover. The title was something like "A gentleman's guide to Highland Dress". My guess is that it was written in the 1940-50s. It was well illustrated with several line drawings a few color plates of various tartans. I made a photo-copy which I lost years ago and I would love to find copy for my library. Internet searches have provided me no leads. I'm hoping "The Rabble" can point me in the right direction.
