Great work! And if I do say so, New Bern is not going to be one of the earlier adopters of kilts for daily wear! Glad you say one other for St. Pat's!

Thanks for the report and the pics. It is a captivating visual when two kilts, pleated differently from the same tartan, look so distinctive. You did a fine job on these.
I, too, made my first (cotton casual) kilt using those and other online instructions back in the fall of 2003. Alan_H's X-kilt instructions round out the library for Do-It-Yourself types. The book, The Art of Kiltmaking, then launches one into traditional wool tartan orbit.
Again, congratulations on the success of your kiltmaking adventures.
