    Regarding the velcro, I think it is good for that kilt. I think it speeds up dressing greatly. And that makes it a good thing to me.

    made my choice

    So many kilts so little $. Really appreciate all your suggestions. I have just ordered a still / irish national. (sorry Rocky) Have to save up for 8 yd 13oz. count sligo. Don't have the one I just ordered and I'm already planning my next. The obsession continues...

    How'd I miss this thread?

    I don't own a Stillwater yet. I'm one of those funny sized people who doesn't happen to fit their standard length or have the inclination to get it shortened...not a lot of options here in the toolies.

    Owned a LOT of other kilts before I bought my first USA Kilt - a semi-trad. Now own two semi-trads and have a third on order.

    Tried my first USA Kilt Casual and liked it so well I've ordered three more.

    No problem getting larger belt loops on the casuals.

    If it helps anyone, there are pics of the three USA Kilts I own in my gallery.
