What does it matter about Scottish laws, I'm wondering about Ontario's laws!
Luckily I also have marine laws on my side. I'm gonna keel-haul you Pete!!!

Thanks for the update, Pete.
So it goes.
And remember - when the time comes, don't forget you're supposed to enjoy building the kilts.

Pete, don't worry about it, things happen beyond our control all the time. I am sure that nobody would be happy with substandard fabric, but once it gets to Fergus, no more kilt nights for you!!

And I look at it as a bonus for me, I might be able to swing one by the time it actually get here! Still loving the looks of that tartan! Does my maternal grandmother being born in Saskatchewan count as a good tie?

Yes, but have you ever considered the Saskatchewan tartan? I think it would look swell with your wheat-coloured hair.

Huh? What? a Saskatchewan tartan? must go research! And thanks for the compliment(?)! Never considered my hair wheat colored, but if it matches a tartan that I am connected to, so be it!
On a related note, does anybody know of a place called Lucky Lake, Saskatchewan? That is supposed to be my Grandmother's birth place, but I have been unable to find it. And to not hijack Pete's thread, PM me if you have any info.

KCW:
Here are canada's official tartan (and un-official - Maple Leaf & Québec). Sask is, I believe, second from top on left side.

You're no longer hijacking this thread as I, skillfully and seruptitiously included the Maple Leaf tartan in my response (tartan in center of picture).
