    Shrek kilt?

    I was watching Shrek 2 and noticed thet he had tartan trews on. anyone know what tartan they were?

    Shrek...

    I noticed that as well, but couldn't I.D. it. It could be what Thompson refers to in "So you're going to wear the kilt" as a "bumby" tartan, which is a tartan pattern created for the clothing industry (or the movies, in this case) which has no connection to a clan, family, district or regiment.

    I noticed this as well and in a previous post, I said that I thought they looked like the Prince Edward Island tartan

    Yeah, closest I could find. I figure that since Mike Myers is a Canadian, so why not use a Canadian tartan. I tried to find pics from So I Married an Axe Murderer to see what tartan they were wearing in that film.

    So I married an ax murderer...

    If I remember correctly, Myers (as his dad and as Charlie) were wearing the Mackenzie tartan, since the character's last name was Mackenzie.
