    fun with a leaf blower

Come on guys get you minds back to the wering of a kilt.
I purchased a used leaf blower from a friend a few years ago. It had the air intake on the TOP and worked fine for the years it lasted. Well finally something broke and I was not able to repair it, so Ace the "frendly hardware man" had a sale on Leaf blowers and I purchased one.
Fantastic a new machine!! But it had the air intake on the BOTTOM.
I always wear one of my Sports Kilts around the house, lounging or working.
I assembled said machine and commenced cleaning the driveway. Suddenly the blower had a death grip on my kilt and I was left standing in front of God and everyone who mignt be looking, in my boxers and T-shirt.
I went in and but a belt around the Sports Kilt and was not left in the lurch again that day.
A few weeks later I went to use the machine in my Sports Kilt without the belt and was again left in my boxers.
When you get up in the 60s the first thing to go is the mind (I forget what else goes)
Anyway to make a short story as long as possible I took a old 3# plastic coffee can and cut the other end out and affixed it to said leaf blower and have no more problem by my molesting leaf blower.

    Robert,

    ROTFLOL!!!! Great story!

When I first read the title of the post, my initial impression was that perhaps you were walking the dog past a neighbor who was using the leaf blower on his yard . . .

It takes a big man to share a story like that with us!
Great story, and thanks for the warning. I don't happen to own a leaf blower, but you never know. I may someday get one. I might be able to save myself some embarrasment.

Not a big deal these days, Robert! I've seen kids wear them as a fashion statement!
