The Celt's Cauldron on eBay
I came across the eBay store for The Celt's Cauldron, a small Scottish store on Cape Breton in Nova Scotia. I particularly am interested in them because they have PV kilts in the Canadian provice tartans (specifically Nova Scotia). Has anyone had any dealings with them?
The price seems decent, especially since they make them by hand.

Maybe this is a new venture for them? It doesn't appear they've sold a single kilt yet, just musical instruments, parts and accessories. Although the seller's (dreaming_west) feedback is at 100%, there's been no feedback received (within the past three months) from anyone buying a kilt. However, I'm sure there's a willing 'guinea pig' out there somewhere, maybe even here?

I think that guinea pig will be me, once my own ebay auctions get settled and i have some extra cash. I emailed the proprietor and he said that they use eight yards for the kilt.
I'll definitely get back to the collective here on my impressions once I receive it. I expect to order it at the end of the week.

I emailed and asked what the weight for the PV was... I'll post their response once/if I receive it.

I've made my order for a kilt in the Nova Scotia tartan (where I'll be honeymooning come October!) this morning. I'll definitely post a review once I receive it. According to the store, I should have it in 2-3 weeks.
Let the clock start...NOW!

Great choice of tartan, Schultz -- my missus wears the Nova Scotia tartan in honour of her Melancon ancestors who came from Grand Pre, NS to Louisiana in "Le Grand Derangement".
BTW, the NS tartan is the oldest district tartan in North America.
Cheers,
Todd
