    I've Shocked Someone

One of my coworkers told me this morning in passing that I have shocked someone in the organization. Apparently, it was the first time they had seen me in a kilt, as I don't wear one all the time. My coworker told them not to worry about it, as I did that sometimes. He also assured them that the director had seen it and wasn't bothered. No trouble will come from it, so I was rather amused.

Sometimes, kilts are better mind expanders than hallucinogenic drugs ;)

The Director was doing a walk around this afternoon and commented on the sign on my door. It's a picture of Homer Simpson wearing a kilt and it says "Kilts Welcome." He said he hoped they weren't required, as nobody wanted to see his knees. So he doesn't seem to concerned about it.

Yeah, sounds like the Director has a sense of humour about it. Huzzah!

Sometimes it still strikes me as odd that ANYONE would have an issue with kilts. Unless it is a safety issue, there simply isn't a reason why a kilt should not be accepted as business attire.

    Just my 2 cents.
