Dyfed, as a matter of interest (OK, it's me being nosey, really), which Stratford do you live in?
Stratford-upon-Avon, Stratford (East London), Stratford (Ontario)? I am sure there are several others, but those are the ones that come immediately to my mind.
Knowing a poster's location helps everyone else to make more sense of what is being said ......... most of the time! ;)

truly one of the nice places. Very few places have a core area walkabout that's as beautiful. You're not to far away from a number of us.

Stillwater has always delivered in about three days here in the States, but who knows how long it will take to cross the border.

The problem is the border. From http://www.stillwaterkilts.com/ (scroll down the page):
"CANADIAN CUSTOMERS:
Please be aware that any order shipping to a Canadian address will likely experience significant delays, and there is a slight risk that your shipment could become lost once it enters the Canadian Postal/Customs system. We have had an increasing number of problems with shipments to Canada, and we fully expect the problem to worsen as the holidays approach."

Yeah...this is sort of what happened to me on a couple of transactions.
I ordered a kilt from Stillwater and it appeared so quickly that I was convinced that sorcery was involved...granted it was only going from Minneapolis to Chicago but it was so quick that they must have received the order telepathically and had the package adressed and ready to go the second my order went through. Way to go, Stillwater, and I really love the kilt (Standard Nightstalker)!
Found a Black Stewart kilt on ebay for my daughter and won the auction. It was coming from Nova Scotia and it took several days longer than I anticipated via the Postal Service. I've made several jokes elsewhere about miscommunication and customs problems between the two countries...not worth repeating (except that maybe we should collaborate on a US/Canadian dictionary...please, I admire and respect BOTH of these countries...it's just a joke...).
Hope that there are no problems for you and you get that puppy ASAP.
Best
Auld Argonian

Canada Post moved the parcel sorting to Vancouver and Calgary Last year. Your package probably made it out West before it ships back to Ontario.
