The Irony of Time

Today was a very, very long day.

Which is ironic, because it's the shortest day of the year.

It only seemed long because of all of the Christmas preparations.

I was talking to my Dad today and we agreed it had been a short year, Christmas is here already. For some reason it doesn't feel like that time of the year.

One thing I've noticed as I got older is that as I approached 60, the velocity at which time passed has seemed to increase at an exponential rate. Who knows, maybe it's one of Einstein's lesser known theories of relativity.
