Kilted Mom?
I'm Kizmet, the mother of a kilted-wannabe.
Prestor John posted a link to my blog wherein I discussed my son (code named D'Argo) and his desire for a kilt, and his lack of funds.
Several of you have stopped by with kind words of encouragement, for which I thank you.
I am also an aspiring novelist, working on a science fiction thriller where two of the main characters are kilted mohawk warriors. If you visit my blog, you'll see many references to the progress of this novel.

Really glad that you are here, and I just wonder where you got the inspiration of a Kilted mohawk warriors, hmmmm.
Enjoy yourself as it is always good to have a female perspective.

...almost too good, because we (the guys) are usually totally devoid of any good sense otherwise...
Welcome aboard to you - and your son, if you decide to expose him to this extremely addictive pursuit.

From Prestor John's son, of course. He's my son's best friend.

And it was, in fact, my second son, "the Kilted Mohawk" that is responsible for all of this... heh heh

Welcome aboard. As an avid Sci-Fi fan, going all the way back to Assimov, Heinlen, Norton and E.E. Smith, I look forward to checking out your novel when it is finished.
