Hello Xmarks "oldtimers"....
The voices of a noticeable number of the early and formerly active Xmarks members have faded away into silence.
I thought it might be nice to here from any of the oldtimers out there that may be still be inclined to lurk about. Take a moment and say hello.

Hi
Hello,
I too have noticed that a few have not piped in for awhile. Then again they may just be too busy doing stuff in their kilts to check in.
Hopefully I will get to see a few this summer at the highland games
cheers

Hey Blu, what do you define as an "oldtimer"? I know that some of the original, and vociferous, crew have either moved on (Graham and Dread come to mind), or are still keeping an eye on things, but decided that they no longer wish to post. Graham was on today, Dread has not been on since early April (hope he is OK), and another chatty one was GMan, but he is on a cruise, so not surprising he hasn't posted.
Anyway, things change, we all get new interests in our lives, and might not be as active in all our social circles at all times.

Yeah, I'm still around even though I don't post like I used to.

No strict definition really... An example of active oldtimes - Alan H. Barb T, Al G, Matt Newsome, Cajunscot, Colin... etc. I guess if you joined a long time ago and can't remeber when you last posted, you're and inactive "oldtimer".
Yah, I know... interests change, people get tired of re-hashing the same material, experience makes people less inclined to seek support from a group, some wish to discuss issues off topic with more freedom, etc. etc. I was curious to see how many of the earlier members still followed to board but just didn't bother to post anymore. No reasons needed... just a friendly hello.

I miss Graham. His posts were always interesting and insightful. His love for the kilt goes without saying. I'm glad he still looks in from time to time.
