    New USAKilts Buccleuch Casual Kilt

Another one of Kelly's kilts. Pleated to the stripe. Rocky had warned me that the sett was smaller than most, it is, but I like it. Believe the Buccleuch has something to do with the Scott's (still learning the history) and the Scotts are a strong maternal clan of mine.

Off to work. At least 100 degrees F today.

Kelly's pleatwork is so fine it almost looks like I have the kilt on backwards.

One thing I really like about the USA Kilts casuals is there is PLENTY of pleat swing.

Way to go Ron. You look so natural kilted, a true example to us all.

Ron, that looks gorgeous! And I know USAK's work is excellent, but how about a closer look at the tartan? I love more earthier tones, but I can't really make out the colors, the sun is very bright in the photos.

Oh, and nice hip action big boy!

    Thanks for that pic P1M,

Finally researched the tartan and of course its only a fashion tartan from the mill. But they gave it a name I can identify with and it looks great so I'm happy.

    Ron,

btw, did you know there is another Buccleuch Tartan? It was worn by the pipers of the 4th Battalion, King's Own Scottish Borderers:
