My son-to-be
I've just happened upon some great information about my son ( who should be born in a few days, and god-willingly will have a kilt on before he is a week old!)
My son's name is Juergen Quinn...and will be called Quinn. I did a lookup on what Quinn means, and here is what I found..
*************
(from behindthename.com)
QUINN
Gender: Masculine & Feminine
Usage: Irish
Pronounced: KWIN [key]
From an Irish surname which was derived from Ó Cuinn meaning "descendent of Cuinn". The name Cuinn is a form of CONN.
and here is the meaning of Conn
CONN
Gender: Masculine
Usage: Irish
Means "chief" in Irish Gaelic.

So, I've unknowingly given my son a gaelic name!! I'm all the happier now! ( and yes, i'll have some pics o' my sun wrapped in tartan up as soon as I get them!)

Good for you KT.
My son's name is Welsh for Chief apparently but he was named after a friend of ours.
I know there is a little welsh in there from my wife and on my Grandmother's side.

Congrads on your son to be, KKT.
It's a life changing experience! My son's name is Quinlan.
We call him by his name or Quinn or "Q"
Cheers,

Congratulations and best wishes with the delivery.
How cool is "Q" for a nick-name!! Dad can be 007 and Mom can be Miss Moneypenny

Finally, Ms. Moneypenny gets to see what's under 007's kilt
