Need advice QUICK!!
The Wife and I are leaving for a cruise tomorrow and I'm planning on wearing the new Kilt for the formal nights (I'll give a FULL report on this when we get back.) Question is what's best for transporting the kilt, rolling or hanging in a garment bag? I've seen some folks roll them but don't have a clue how to do it and am afraid of wrinkling it up if I try.
Any advice would be appreciated,
Dave

I would hang it, if the clothes are going to be treated gently on the trip.
Some might say it depends on how the rest of the garments are being stored, toted and what not.
This is just what I think would work, so it isn't expert advice, but it is what I would do.

When I met with Turpin here last week, he was waxing eloquent about the virtues of the Kiltroll that he got from the Kilt Store...a bit late for you to order one but perhaps there is a way to roll it and pack it without one.

Rolling them up works very well. All you need is a stocking. Here's how-

Take a large towel or folded sheet, sarong, whatever. Lay the kilt out on it, apron up. Start rolling from the right side, rolling the kilt up in the fabric. I carried my saffron this way for a week in my duffel bag with no problem.
