hi,
I bought two scarves in Highland Store.

I'd try not to mix the tartans ...That is never a good idea.

There is no rule that I am aware of when it comes to scarves. I think it would be fine to wear with ant other tartan as it is outerwear.

Just don't wear a Rangers one into a Celtic pub, and vice versa.

Been there, done that! I wore my Hearts scarf into a Celtic pub in St. Louis, McGuirk's to be exact. Not much was said, but I did get a definate dirty look from the bartender -- but at least it was no the Rangers!

I have a couple of tartan scarves that I wear a lot in the winter. When I'm wearing a kilt, the tartans don't match. It's funny, what I wouldn't do with a necktie, I'll do with a scarf .

Ye know, I can make scarves... Nice ones too. Not tartan scarves, but nice scarves none the less.
