Calendar
Hey Guys and gals...
Thanks to Mike1, the Calendar function (click on the word "calendar" in the nav bar right above the Freedom Kilts ad) is new and improved and ready for kilt nights to be recorded!
Click on the calendar button and you'll see events. There isn't much in Feb, but March has 1 (that I posted) as do April and May.
Post the city and event (i.e. "Philly Kilt Night") in the subject line and then in the body of the event, give the answers to the Who, When, Where and how (much).
With the new functionality of this calendar, your town's Kilt night won't get buried on this page under the dozens of others happening.

Thanks Rocky and the Mods that be. I have added one event thus far for SOCS and will add more info as I get it.

I don't see anything on my calendar view (default calendar). The birthday one is full, but the other is blank... what's up?

Sorry I posted an event in March. The 31st Hunting Mcleod - SOCS (which by the way looks like a Welsh evening as I should have typed SOKS! Now follow the Rocky directions and pull up March. If you can't do this you're gonna miss a lot of drinkin'.

Hmmm... well, I may be slow, but I'm not THAT stupid... and I doubt Improv1 is, either.
I pulled up the March calendar "following the Rocky directions," and what do you know? THERE'S NOTHING THERE ON MY VIEW OF THE MARCH 2007 DEFAULT VIEW CALENDAR. There's also nothing there on the weekly view of any week in the default calendar of March 2007. There's plenty there on the birthday calendar.
If there's another calendar that actually shows events, I don't have access to it.
Of course, you don't have to take my word for it - you can come to the eastern panhandle and inspect my display if you'd like.
OK, I'm done venting now. Just remember - just because something works for you, it may not necessarily work for everyone... and if it doesn't work for us, we're not automatically idiots.

OK hold off on the platitudes for a sec. Rocky said that he posted something in March, April & May. My calender only displays, to me alone, my posting. So to me it appears to only be my personal planner (it does give me an option of a reminder). This is something I can use but it is not the thing we'd be hoping for.

Hmm, calendar seems to be very broken; I get a login screen whenever I click on the calendar link. And even though I am logged in (as evidenced by this message) when I try to "re-log in" I continue to get the login screen.

Having no problems with it here.
