Estes Park Games Pics - 4
Well, this will be the last of the pics. For those that are just now getting to them, here are the other threads:
First we had the clans in the parade
Second we had the bands in the parade
Third we had general pics from around the grounds
Now, we will have the final pics.
First, we have a few Romans. As most everyone knows, the Roman Empire reached as far north as the British Isles. Hadrians wall was built by them just a few years before some of us were born

Here are a few pics of the heavy games. This gentleman had already won and was trying to set a new US record which would also be a new record for Estes since it was set there. AND he was the one that set that record.

I would have had better pics but I left the long lens back at the house and just wasn't in the best position for shooting.

We're getting close to the end now. The Scottish Armory had a couple cannons set up to fire into the lake.

Yet another excellent photo thread, I'm sorry to see its the last in the Estes park series. The second pic with the heavy's kilt beyond the wire mesh appears to create an illusion of an unusual tartan.

That is now becoming a very popular tartan in these parts, called the illusionary tartan.
Again great shots Greg.
