Sunday the wife and I went to an open house at the World Bird Sanctuary here in St Louis ( no pictures, the wife forgot the camera, it was her job this time.)
I wore my SWK Irish National and had many good compliments including a young lady how was not more than 16 giving me a thumbs up and telling what a great kilt I had and her father just smiled and shook his head.
When we were leaving we came across the gentleman who runs the sanctuary, he stops me and says "it's nice to see someone else wearing a kilt, I'm a scoty too".
We talked for a while and I told him that we had seen him at the St. Louis Scottich Games, he said that he wears his kilt as much a possible.
After that we went down to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery to visit my father in laws grave and while there my wife turns to me and says " You know if Dad was here he'd ask What the hell are you wearing" We both laughed at that.
