    Greetings from Williamsburg, VA

So here I am, I've finally joined X-marks after lurking a bit. Hey to everyone, but are there any Tidewater/Area kilties out there?
I'm a former W&M student trying to figure out what he wants to do with his life, aside from buying kilts.
My kilt is a wool Campbell of Argylle knife pleated to the stripe. Any Campbell's out there I know it's an unofficial tartan your chief doesn't like, which is why I've claimed it as Clann Riggleman's official tartan.
    In any case, greetings all!

from up in Virginia's attic. We've got some stuffy, dusty old stuff up here that really needs to be thrown out.

Hello and From The Great State of Missouri, I have ancestors who swore an allegance to the Campbells of Breadalbane.
Here's a quote from the Clan Campbell Society I found interesting concerning the Campbell of Argyll tartan.

"While it is true that the Sixth Duke [of Argyll] introduced a white line to his plain Campbell tartan to differentiate himself from the rest of the Campbells, (he being the chief and entitled to do so), he was the only member of the family so to do and the rest of the family thought he was rather pompous to do it."

Welcome from a son of the Tidewater that lives in Louisville KY. I may be in your area around turkey day, if you can suggest a spot for a pint.

No formal tartan kilts yet, but may get an Armstrong of something along the way. I have a UK Original and an Amerikilt, and I like them both.

My grandfather taught at W&M, but that was before you started there...
