    My first kilt

Here are a couple of shots of my first kilt I ordered from Geoffrey (Tailor) at the Pleasanton, CA Highland Games.

As soon as my belt and hose get here (okay, so I forgot to get them with the kilt), I'll get some pics wearing it.

Bullocks to needing the hoze and an actual kilt belt. Just shimmy you socks to the top of your boot and use any belt 1 3/4 or larger.

    Nice kilt. Put it on!!

Congratulations on the new kilt. Have you ordered the belt and hose as yet, and do you have a sporran?

    That poor kilt.

All alone, waiting on someone to wear it. It's just not right, I tell ya!!

Put it on now! If someone says something about the belt or hose, just wave your hand and say "These are not the accessories you're looking for. Now move along."

The power of the kilt is strong in that one.....

Do not be too proud of this English Empire you've constructed, the ability to terrorize innocent French is nothing compared to the power of the Tartan.

I have a sporran, but I am afraid the Kilt police will be all over the place ifn I go out without me belt and hose.

For cripes sake, WEAR IT!!! Kilt and sporran is all you need! Put on some boots and a rugby jersey and you're set! Hose and belt are totally secondary. I want to see photos of you wearing it!

...but if you feel unable to satisfy that kilt's wearing needs, feel free to send it to me. I'll find it a good home.

This is a kilt that's meant to go to waist. Wear it now. Make it proud.
