    Dioning with Morons

Off topic, maybe. The wife and I went out for dinner last night at one of our favorite restaurants. It's in a little town not too far from home, inhabited my mostly illiterate morons and neer-do-wells. I was kilted. There was a party at the table behind us. I had had 2 beers. I did not hear what they said, but my wife did. When we got in the car to go home, she told me some of the comments that were made about me wearing a kilt. Not only did they cast dispersions about me, but they were making rude comments about my wife. I just wish I had heard the comments they made. They had at least 3 generations at the table. Had i heard the comments, I would have said, At least i can go home and put pants on. You will be morons forever. Then I would have asked why they were teaching their children to be morons, too. Maybe it's better that I did not here the morons speaking. Anyway, I wear the tartan for me, not for any one else. But the waitresses liked it. Her mother even tried to take our table away from her own daughter.

Ugh, I know what you're talking about. Those people are everywhere. Sometimes they're in front of me at Food Lion. It's unfortunate that they couldn't contain their closemindedness simply to you. Talk about me; I'm a man and I'm wearing a kilt and I'm fine with that. Don't bring other people into it!
I'm sorry you had to put up with that. Or I guess you really didn't, but I'm sorry your wife did.

Yes, they're everywhere. The fact that three generations were seated at the table indicates that, for many, stupidity is hereditary!

Too bad you couldn't send your bill to that table. They ruined your dinner, it's the least they could do to apologize.

I have also seen evidence of it being contagious. Far more contagious than bird flu and far more dangerous...

I didn't notice any connection, that link is to the random daily page, unless you were just linking to the website. In that case, thanks.

The Darwin awards are listed each year for those who are so stupid they remove themselves from the gene pool, often before they manage to pass the "stupidity gene" on to a new generation. I linked to a specific recipient because the main site has a couple of more "R" or "X" rated examples for this year.

It's why some shouldn't be allowed in the gene pool.

Not only is it hereditary, it is also taught - thus the kids get a double whammy.
