Thanks to SK, SWK and A_Hay...
... my son looked like this at Christmas Mass tonight!

I know he's missing a sock. He got bitten on the ankle by a spider and had to take his sock off.
So--- the sporran is A_Hay original. I highly recomend the guy.
The kilt is a SportKilt Loc Ness tartan. They hemmed it, made the flashes and tie, and got it all to me in less than a week.
An last but certainly not least, Jerry at SWK. I ordered the sporran strap in plenty of time. The package got to me as fast as we have all come to expect from SWK. But this purchase is proof that Jerry is human after all. He sent me the wrong thing!! He sent me a set of kilt straps/buckles instead of a sporran strap. I called him and told him about the mishap. He not only told me not to worry about sending back the buckles, he sent me the sporran strap, and I got it just in time- it arrived in the mail right as we were getting ready to leave. If SWK hadn't already solidified my loyalty, they certainly would have with this.
So thanks to all involved who helped me to make my son one happy little kiltie. Merry Christmas, all!!

Believe me I am. Only real complaint I have with him is that he has this annoying habbit of chewing his hair. But you know, if that's all I have to complain about, then he must be a pretty darn good kid.

It's good to see a happy face. He looks totally pleased. That's just great.

I put the whole outfit (flashes, tie, kilt, sporran) together in one package and and let him open it right before he had to get ready for Mass. He saw that sporran and just about had a heart attack! It was great!

Good looking boy you have there. I agree, if hair chewing is the worst there is then things are running pretty smooth. You could always teach him to club it (an 18th Cent style).

Looks real nice. Is he wearing a vest? Let him know I had a spider bite once and I feel his pain. Mine got infected and I got blood poison (Had to have massive amounts of antibiotics) so keep it clean and watch it.

Let us thank God for the small annoyances which pass with time; they help us to keep our perspective, and keep us aware of our far more important blessings.
He is indeed a bonnie lad. You have every right to be proud of him.
Best wishes for a happy and prosperous New Year.
