Tartan ID!

[BEEDEE]

Bought this on eBay recently. The description has is as

Weathered Glen Craigloch Tartan woven in Scotland by Peter MacArthur of Hamilton (Now sadly closed )

I've been unable to find it as a registered tartan on the Tartan Ferret or Scotweb, so I assume it is just a fashion tartan.

But.... with so many more knowledgeable people on this forum, though I would post it and see if anyone has more information.

Again, a Stewart tartan. It's a Royal Stewart variant.

An evasive varient if so. Just went to http://tartans.byair.net/ and they have 79 variants of Stewart/Stuart tartans and none of the 79 look like that.

A puzzler for sure.

It reminds me of the Wren tartan, but i can't tell for sure.

The yellow stripe is missing... not the "Wren."
