    Arrrrrrrrrrgh.

I'm not arrrrrghing in the usual way.

I'm busy prepping for the Singlehanded TransPac, dealing with Mom's illness and Joans issues with that, and occasionally practicing for Highland Games. There are six yards of Gray Stewart and Six yards of Lindsay tartan sitting in my room and five yards of digital camo AND I hear I'm getting three yards of double-width Hall Tartan for a special occasion and I have NO TIME to make anything from them. None. Zero. Zip in the time department.

    Arrrrrgh.

Alan, as frustrating as it is now, maybe you can use it as something to look forward to for when things in your life settle down. I somehow sense that you'll be needing things to do then.

I feel your pain, buddy. I've got a pile of untouched fabric right now, too, and hiking season is upon us!

I hear you there. I am trying to prepare for a quickly approaching move, while maintining the obligations of everyday life. Every weekend from now until I move is booked and during the week I have class and work. I have a bunch of leather that needs to turn into sporrans and I have yards of felted wool that need to become balmorals and berets. I also have 7 yrds of Cunningham Tartan that I have no current designs on but it needs to turn into something.

I hope things clear up for you so you can get to working on some projects. I am sorry to hear of you mothers illness. Hang in there! You are not alone.

I would like to ad an Arrrrrgh ! myself. As I announced practically two months ago that my very dear Lady Chrystel herself was on the point of making more of those double box pleat kilts we are so proud of, the whole world is waiting, expecting, gasping perhaps, and time is flowing by...
What happened is that she got tailoring orders : 2 weddings, innumerable zippers to mend, etc. etc. So my kilts had to wait : I'm just a husband getting his kilts for free, not a customer.
So I have sitting in my room 8 yards of MacKinnon RM 13-14 oz, 7 yards of Robertson RM 16oz, and 8 yards of Royal Canadian Air Force 11 oz. Arrrrrgh !!!

    Best,

    Robert

    Alan,

Is the Lindsey 13 or 16 oz? I think I know a gorgeous redhead who might wish to buy that fabric from you to finally put Barb's book to use for that rather dashing (and modest) husband of hers...

    Cheers
