Not sure what you mean by "access", but why not peruse the web site of Lady Saltoun, the chief of the name and arms of Fraser:

I am told my last name is associated with the Clan and I am tring to confirm it. My Last name is Jarvis a name quite common in Scotland and the whole of the British Isles.

I didn't see that particular surname on the list from Lady Saltoun's web site; you could always write one of the Fraser societies and/or Lady Saltoun herself to see if they can shed any light on this, but remember this list is directly from the Chief, who is the final authority on such matters.

it may be is, there are jarvis's in my home town, but like a lot of lowland towns, a lot of name aren't connected to clans.

the STA has Jarvis connected the the Stirling & Bannockburn district tatran

Scotweb's tartan search usually yields a nice listing of septs associated with clan tartans at the bottom of the list of tartans, as below for the Fraser clan:

    http://www.scotweb.co.uk/tartan/Fras...rchterm=fraser

I have found it a useful first search tool, although I cannot vouch for either its accuracy or completeness.

See the aforementioned web site of the Fraser Chief, Lady Saltoun, in my previous post. The Chief is the final authority when it comes to affiliated names.

Remember, us Lovat Frasers don't all recognise Lady Saltoun, bless 'er cotton socks, as clan chief. I had a good discussion about this in the Fraser heartlands outside Inverness just recently. Not all folks run with your take on things, whatever the Lord Lyon might say to the contrary!

    Cheers
