    My new Kilt pin

Just won this on e-Bay. Only feathered kilt pin I have seen. Anyone know any history or antedotes concerning this kind of pin?

Love it! Somewhat in the same family as the fly kilt pin featured a while back, but more towards the jewelry end of the spectrum.

A lot of the time those used to be called 'Mitzpah' or 'Luck' pins.
    Very, very nice.

Nice pin. Unusual. It got me thinking though. Anyone know what the pin Queen Victoria pinned to the young soldier's kilt actually looked like?

Most scholars believe this story to be apocryphal.
