First time out!
Exactly one month after getting my first kilt I went public! I wore my SWK Irish Nat'l standard to a gig (unfortunately no pics). In keeping with our style of music I went very casual--kilt top at the navel which puts the hem right at the middle of my kneecaps, black casual belt and sporran, black t-shirt and boots with the hose pulled down to the top of the boots. Fraternizing with the crowd between sets, I got nothing but compliments. Best of all, I was super comfortable! We're a pretty energetic band so the extra ventilation was much appreciated when things got hot and heavy . Woo Hoo! That was fun!! Onward...

No pics, it didn't happen. Just kidding! Let's get a pic or two up showing you kilted! Oh, BTW, congrats on your outing.

We must be careful not to let the secret out that kilts are actually natural air conditioning. If everyone started wearing kilt, we would end up with a serious global warming issue.

As a representative from Florida... PLEASE don't melt any more ice caps. I'm up to my knees in water and we've got polar bears floating around all over the place. If it gets any higher, I'll have to wear a shorter kilt...
