    The Power of Wool!

    -22 oz. MOD Gordon Tank
    -Heavy Wool Hose
-Hose Tops (not sure if they work but they add an extra layer)
    -Heavy Wool Commando Sweater
    -Wool Jacket
    -Wool Watch Cap
    -Beard

Ok...my knees are a little chilly.

Nice Pic. Here in Nebraska we are sharing your cold snap. Dressed smart such as you are most people would be surprised at how warm they really are. I know in my kilts I feel much warmer than in jeans (short of my knees as you said.) Looking good!

Nice photo. Careful, with that much wool on, you're liable to overheat.

You look all toasty warm. Did you ever leave the deck?

Heavy hand knit hose + hose toppers

Just wear the hose toppers lower and turn the other hose over them. Worn like this the toppers work great with boots and even look good with low shoes (without needing spats).

Both came off of Ebay. The heavy hand knit hose were the real score though...the seller just threw them (and a very nice pair of wool flashes) in with a pair of $30 used ghillie brogues. I'm certain the value of the hose and flashes far exceeded the cost of the shoes.
