Got My First Freebie for Being Kilted
Yesterday here at Fort Detrick, Maryland they held a "Right Arm Night" on the post for St. Patricks Day. A right arm night is where your boss celebrates with you because you're his "right arm." Anyway, I was kilted in my nice green US Army kilt. The host for the event made a point to make me stand and show off the kilt. Later, there were door prizes given out and he held back a few of them. After all the random prizes were given out, he walked up to me and gave me one of the prizes he held back, just because I was kilted. Cool!!
By the way, the prize I received was a small lunch sized cooler along with an emergency flashlight that you crank to generate the charge.

Even when we're not kilted, we should probably keep a kilt handy, just in case free stuff is being handed out.

There was this tatooed blond buying me shots last night... Does that count as a door prize?

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
