New Garter Ties for the Isle of Skye

Today I received a new set of traditional garter ties to match the Isle of Skye tartan. I must say I am very impressed with these, I've never quite seen any hand knit garter ties like them, they match the Isle of Skye very well I am sure that they will garner attention on their own. Those look really good with the tartan and hose. How do they compare to elastic flashes in comfort and functionality?

Well personally, I find the traditional style garter is so much more comfortable than elastic that very rarely do I wear elastic flashes anymore these keep your hose hose but I find they do not dig into your leg at all.
