Anyone have dealings with these guys?

My wife found the website today. Has anyone had dealings with them, and what is the quality of their merch?

Yeah... I saw that, too. I have no intention of buying a kilt from them for sure. I was thinking about an Argyle jacket. I know it's acrylic, but for the price and the use it will get, it would be just the right investment- unless it's a steamy pile o' poo, of course...

I didn't find a kilt that expensive just an outfit. Looks like a 16oz acrylic kilt is 127.00 at the moment and it seems like a decent price for the jackets as well.

OK- so it is for a full outfit!

Hey Hawk, Fish face and I really like our PC's from these guys, and they are real wool, I know how you feel about wool from Acyllie beasts. These guys stuff is exactly what they say it is. Mine fits me. I like the jackets, their kilts that's another story.

Nighthawk, I do think they have come up before on the forum several times. You might want to look into that.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Brad Beaton is the proprietor. I own a kilt of theirs and have been to their "shop" before. (It's not really a storefront, but they do allow walk-ins.)

For the price, It's not a bad kilt. I found his staff to be a wonderful family of gracious hosts. They were well informed on fitting the kilt. The quality for the price is fair by my standards. I do not wear a PC often, so paying the price for a custom PC is just nuts. For the odd Burns supper, I believe it would be fine.

Interesting!! Thanks for the information. That's exactly where I'm at on the PC issue. I don't know that I would ever have cause to wear one, which is why the Argyle caught my eye.

I've been thinking about getting one of those. Problem is, I have an issue with paying large amounts for shipping... Call me cheap!

***EDIT*** Their shipping costs seem to have dropped since last I looked!

As I recall the shipping was less than the shipping from Canada for my Lindsay, took longer, but it was less.
