The Frugal Corner -Ownership
I have noticed a couple of threads where pople have mentioned the "new" ownership of The Frugal Corner - Kilt Store.
I wanted to clarify what has gone on over the several months.
The Company was owned by Mark Wright (me) and Mark Bennett - Each with 50% ownership. There were some differences and issues between us. These things caused us to start discussing a partnership buy out.
The buyout was completed around the end of Apr 2009 and we reformed as an LLP with my wife, Daleah, owning 51% and me with 49%. Having things run as a family business has made decision making easier and enabled us to focus on growth and customer service.
May 2009, we moved the business to a 2,000 SQFT retail store front in Dubois PA in order to be closer to the east coast and the numerous celtic events in the area. Our son Darrel is now working with us at the store and at shows.
We have been working hard to add new tartans, make new partnerships with clan organizations, and increase the number of shows we are doing during the summer months, and increase customer satisfaction.
We now use a computer based Customer Relationship Management program for orders.
We use USPS to ship and track all packages
We have increased our total inventory of in stock kilts
We offer monthly specials via our news letter
