inexpensive waistcoat from JC Penney

Hi all-
I've seen some threads (now closed) about inexpensive waistcoats from Target. I wasn't too impressed with their online selection so I tried JC Penney and just ordered this waistcoat.

In case the hyperlink doesn't work it's called Stafford Essentials Capewool Vest. On sale for $24.99, marked down from $60.00. Hopefully it'll look sharp with the MacPherson hunting kilt I have on order from USAKilts.

I wasn't so sure about the brown color so I went for the other one. And I also ordered the matching sport coat to go with it. I'll have to start some research about the proper cut of a coat...

That I like. If ya have one check out the Burlington coat Factory. I have found they offer a very nice Tweed waist coat for about the same price. I love the one I got from there. I will have to be visiting our local Penny's soon.

I had looked at their website, but couldn't find anything beyond (surprise!) coats. I'll have to check out the actual store. It's been so long since I've bought something from a store instead of online...I'm not sure I'll remember how to do it.

Do you know if it is alread the right length for a kilt or will it need some altering? Either way, it looks great and I may have to pick one up.
