    My New Kilt

Well my dad finally finished making my new kilt. It is my first MacDougall kilt. I have to say it means a ton to me that he made it for me. Anyway here are some pictures of it. Don't mind the old guy wearing the ancient MacDougall kilt in some of the pictures.

    Thumbs up

Well, the old guy in the ancient MacDougall makes a heck of a kilt and you're one lucky lad! Well done both of you!

What he said! I've been wondering about a McDougal tartan ever since I first saw Van Wilder... It's a nice tartan! I'm a lover of the ancient and weathered tartans myself- you and your dad both look great!!

Oh and just as a note, kilts aren't the only thing we make. He got me started on leather working, so we also make sporrans as well. You can't see it very well in the picture, but the sporran I have on is the 3rd one I have made. I am sure he will remind me soon I still need to make one like it for him.
That's great! I just made my first leather mug. Post some pictures in the DIY section! I'd love to see some of your work.

Very nice! That goes for the kilts and the sporran. Fine workmanship.

The pics make me wish I could get my Old Man to wear a kilt at least once.

Very nice! It's great that you have a kilt in the family tartan made by your dad. Makes me jones for the MacDougall Ancient I recently ordered!

Congratulations on a very nice kilt.
