    Kilts ARE cooler!

Being a lass, I've been wearing skirts my entire life, in various lengths.
Today I discovered something inherently different with a kilted skirt.

The pleats, when one walks rather fast, DO in fact create a little breeze! You guys weren't kidding when you discuss the "ventilation" factor.

I'd only ever worn my kilt-skirts with tights, or with athletic shorts underneath, or while walking slowly in crowded areas. The breeze factor was a new discovery today whilst in a hurry.

Regular skirts just don't generate their own draft.

Darn, you discovered our secret. Now you'll have to be placed under house arrest and given strict orders not to reveal the secret to non-believers.

Well, living on Oregon's coast, breezes are something you do have on occasion.

If all you have is a kilted skirt and you're enjoying the benefits, then get yourself a full kilt and you'll get the entire experience. Nothing like the sway of the pleats while walking.
