A Day In The Woods
Yesterday at Purisima Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve -- montane redwood forest near Half Moon Bay:

Warm and sunny, couldn't have asked for a lovelier day!

I'm killed in the war or hung during peace."

The spring-loaded deadly ease with which you carry yourself always makes me think of those Chuck Norris tributes that pop up from time to time...
Like "Chuck Norris could bludgeon a man to death with a party balloon."
This picture inspired something similar : "Does a bear $#&% in the woods? He does if he smells Seago approaching."
Always enjoy your pics!

A bit of a different perspective, less of me and more of the ambience of the place. I have to say it was majestically ambient!

Reason: Trying to get rid of my SO's annoying time/date stamp

And the best compliment I can give is that you majestically fit right in! In every picture I see of you, Dale, you look like you belong right where you are.

Just to give a sense of context and temperature, while it wasn't terribly hot it was warm enough for my safari shirt to get plastered to my back after the first couple of miles, despite the fact that the Camelbak hydration pack I was wearing is designed for "breathability" and allows air-flow between it and one's clothing. Almost every other person we saw on the trails was wearing shorts.
