Any experience with the vendor Stubborn Stag?
In my search for a nice antler kilt pin, I came across a vendor called Stubborn Stag; http://www.stubbornstag.co.uk/. They seem to have some very nice products, but I wanted to ask the Rabble if anyone of you have any experience with this particular vendor? Although everything seems to be legitimate, it's always nice to hear what other people have experienced.
So..Any comments you would like to share?

Some very nice looking blades and pins there! And the prices aren't bad!

My thoughts exactly! I'm especially pleased to finally see some kilt pins with antler pieces of a bit more size than what my impression is of the "standard" ones which you can get from a range of vendors.

Ah, Paul himself is now part of the Rabble! Welcome, good sir! Hopefully I'll be able to give you a good review or two once I get my PayPal account filled up..! I've got my eyes firmly set on that beautiful (!) Deer Antler kilt pin. So to the rest of the Rabble; hands off!

Like the looks of the pins and sgians. Too bad the sgians don't come with a better blade. Put a real blade on any of those and it'd be something to behold!

Thanks again guys. I hear what you are saying Shaun but I suppose its all relative.
In Scotland (as in many other countries due to ever more restrictive knife laws) it would never be anything more than a national dress accessory, with the exception of slaying the odd haggis once a year. I could use damascus but have found no historical link and this would considerably raise the cost of a Dubh that has to remain hidden in its sheath. Pretty sure in Scotland with the exception of formal occaisions, burns nights etc it has to remain in its sheath by law, I'll let the masses correct me on that one if I'm wrong.
I certainly take your comments on board and if in these tough financial times people were prepared to pay a little extra then I would of course make it. Just trying to offer a handmade alternative with a bit of variety from the norm at a fair and reasonable price.
Thanks again
Paul
