While examining the construction of various day sporrans, it occurred to me that they could be made with interchangeable pouches and flaps. Here is my first attempt.
The pouch pieces cut and ready to lace together:

The flap cut and punched for lacing:

I stitched a piece of aluminum between the top leather and lining leather. The decoration piece had a self-adhesive backing, but wouldn't adhere well to leather.
Here is a detail of the screw posts used to hold the flap to the pouch:

My prototype didn't work out entirely to my liking. It is a bit large. I will make it bit smaller for the next version. I wanted to use hidden metal washers for the magnetic catch, but the magnets aren't quite strong enough. I have slightly larger magnets on order for prototype number 2. Anyway, the design does basically work. I can have a couple of pouches and several flaps.
